Well… it’s live! 🎉
What started as a fairly innocent plan to give the Scented Sanctuary website a little refresh somehow turned into five days, around 50 hours of work, a complete rethink of the brand and more conversations about website code than I ever expected to have in my life. 🤣
But somewhere amongst all of that, something finally clicked.
I realised that Scented Sanctuary was never really about choosing a wax melt because you liked the sound of the fragrance.It was about how you wanted to feel.
Maybe you need everything to go a little quieter.
Maybe you want to curl up somewhere soft and comforting.
Maybe you need some brightness and energy back in the room.
Or perhaps you just need to clear the air, reset and start again.
And that’s now where the new Scented Sanctuary begins:

For the first time since I started this business, the website actually feels like the idea I had in my head — warm, calm, personal and hopefully somewhere that makes choosing a fragrance feel a little less overwhelming.
And after spending most of this week glued to my laptop getting it there, I decided the house desperately needed some attention too.
Two days, one carpet shampooer and an alarming number of Brillo pads later, I have discovered that apparently everything in my life is getting a refresh at the moment. 🤦♀️🤣
Maybe there’s something in the air.
So this Sunday evening, I’m giving myself permission to stop fixing things for five minutes, put a wax melt in the burner and enjoy the fact that sometimes a fresh start really does feel good.
