Our Story

Scented Sanctuary started with a simple realisation: scent can change how a moment feels.

For me, fragrance has never just been about making a room smell lovely. Some scents help me settle when everything feels a bit too much. Others bring comfort, lift my energy or give me that feeling of wiping the slate clean and starting again.

What started as curiosity became nearly two years of researching, testing and learning — not just about wax and fragrance, but about the scents I found myself reaching for at different moments and why.

Somewhere along the way, the question stopped being “What do I want my home to smell like?” and became “How do I want to feel?”

And that’s now at the heart of Scented Sanctuary.

Each fragrance is chosen for the feeling it can bring to your moment — whether you need to slow everything down, feel comforted, find a little energy or simply come back to yourself.

There’s no right time to choose one and no complicated ritual required. Sometimes you just need ten quiet minutes, a familiar scent and a little bit of what you need that day.

Every Scented Sanctuary wax melt is hand-poured by me at home using a coconut & rapeseed wax blend, with no dyes or unnecessary embellishments. The packaging is recycled and recyclable too — because beautiful doesn't need to mean wasteful.

Scented Sanctuary is an independent business, created and run by me, Caroline. I develop, make and hand-pour every wax melt myself, so I know exactly what goes into every product that leaves my hands.
